In a hospital in Siberia, bodies were wrapped in black plastic and kept in the basement of the hospital. The hospital later commented on the video, stating that it was not equipped to handle the number of corpses it had. In another video, the hallways of a hospital are shown lined with sick patients in cots, and a woman ill with covid was offered "sitting hospitalization" in a wheelchair due to lack of beds. A Russian world-war II veteran also died due to the coronavirus as his granddaughter filmed her tense encounter with doctors, who had tried to transfer the severely ill man to a psychiatric hospital.
