Emmylou recorded this song in 1992 at the «Cowgirls Prayer»Recording sessions. But They decided not to include it on the album release. (However the version was released on the Songbird collection in 2007) In 1994 Emmylou recorded the song again with Dolly Parton and Linda Ronstadt for their second TRIO album, again it was not released when the TRIO album was released. (That version was finally released on the Complete Trio collection in 2016) In 1995 Emmylou recorded her great alternative album «Wrecking Ball» and again Emmylou did a new take on the song and finally it was released.
