This is a Platinum Cake cultivar that was grown indoor under HPS lighting with drain to waste nutrient feed by horticulturalist QueenCorn... In this video we are demonstrating our revolutionary Crop-to-Cure™️ process in which we will take the plant directly from garden to a smokable flower in an unprecedented 24 hours! The cannabis harvested had its fan leaves & buds removed from the stock before placed into a cooler full of dry-ice for transport to an offsite location to be processed. (Note: It is NOT necessary to utilize dry-ice for transport or cold storage... Dry-ice & or deep-freezers simply allow us to keep biomass live & in a suspended frozen state until we are ready to process the flowers.) The live/unfrozen biomass can also be placed directly into The Original Resinator®️ subsequently & in sequence to a pre-frozen freeze-dryer after our Cryo-Trim™️ process. The key factor once the biomass has gone below the freeze point of 32°F or the buds/flowers have been frozen, is to “maintain the cold chain”. Please note: The Original Resinator is a BLADELESS system and utilizes liquid C02 as a freezing agent and minimizes any attrition of the quality flower trimmed or processed through our patented “CRYO-TRIM™” process. The ’TOR', “CRYO-TRIM™” system freezes, fractures and trims by utilizing temperature control between 10 and 30°F, (ice cream temps). These temperatures protect the valuable elements and vitality within your finished flower such as but not limited to the trichomes, potency, terpenes, and aroma/nose while trimming the flower. Utilizing our slow rotation of our processing drum, the optimum frozen temperatures causes the external leaves to become just brittle enough to fracture and fall from the flower, exposing a perfectly trimmed flower and without upsetting the trichomes or terpene content. Aggressive scissor work during a common hand trimming process of flower may often cause damage. The “TOR” system trims with the rise and fall of the flower creating a pristine finished product without shaping or contouring your flower/buds. The ‘TOR’ system optimizes your finished product to garner maximum quality for wholesale and retail sales. Liquid C02: When trimming flower, consumption is approximately 1Lbs of Liquid C02 per 1Lbs of biomass. However and to ensure that you don’t run out of Liquid C02 we recommend having 2Lbs of Liquid C02 per each 1Lbs of trimming of flower. Freeze drying, aka lyophilization process, preserves more cannabinoids then any other dry & cure method. Buds are perfectly preserved with ZERO shrinkage. There are 3 key components to the freeze dry process which are necessary to optimize the process... 1.)The time that we hold the freeze dryer at each stage of its recipe. 2.) The temperature controlled at each stage of the recipe. 3,)The vacuum pressure or militor rating controlled throughout the entire process. (This May require a retrofit bleeder valve to your freeze dryer, uless you own a CannaFREEZE unit.) When the freeze dried cannabis comes out of the freeze dryer, it begins to absorb moisture from the air, and it is now in an oxygen rich atmosphere. These two things, plus enzymes that are still 100 percent potent will cause the degradation of the chlorophyl in 1 to 4 hours depending on localized humidity and give you a product that is dried cured as if it was hanging for 2+ weeks. Re-humidifying the flowers to a 9-12% RH with a humidor, two-way humidity control packs or simply allowing flowers/buds to normalize in a localized climate controlled environment at 60%RH & 70°F is recommended to gain the preferred consistency for packaging of smokable or joint ready buds.
