The hospitality of the Filipinos is pretty much evident as early as the pre-colonial era. However, things have changed upon the arrival of the Spaniards, where the implementation of polo (forced labor) and paying tributes led to some of the locals resenting the colonizers hence igniting the Filipino Revolts that we are going to talk about in this video.
