Materials: 2 - 10 layer medium weight denim plates laminated with poly-resin. 2 - PEI 5 Ceramic Floor Tiles (6"x6") 3 - Galvanized Roof Flashing Layers Layers were assembled in the following order from strike face back. 1. Tile 2. Flashing 3. Denim Plate 4. Tile 5. Flashing 6. Denim Plate 7. Flashing The thickness was over 2.5" making this plate bulky. However, further testing could determine the min amount of material needed for the reliable stopping of the round and therefore reduce the total size and weight of the plate. Our predictions lead us to believe that one 7 layer denim plates sandwiched between two tile plates with one 5 layer denim plate backing the plate would work.
