The Puyallup Post's video: Students in Solidarity Against Racism and Police Brutality

This was designed to be a peaceful gathering of students and members of the community. Student leaders used their platforms through social media to create a buzz and rally people to join them in the Puyallup, WA area. Though it was organized by student leaders from Pierce College Puyallup, there were a number of students from surrounding area community colleges and universities. To name a few, Tacoma Community College, Pierce College Fort Steilacoom, Pacific Lutheran University, and University of Washington Tacoma. It was successful in not only bringing the issues of racism and police brutality to the forefront of the Puyallup community, but also remaining a positive and safe experience for everyone who participated.
