BRIEF STATION HISTORY - Triple X 99FM was established in 1997 and broadcast to Rotorua on 99.1 MHz. The station operated from premises on the fourth floor of the Trust Bank Building in Rotorua, alongside its sister station, Easy Listening i 94.3FM. Both Triple X 99FM and Easy Listening i 94.3FM ceased operating in 1998. The 99.1 MHz frequency was replaced with The Pulse, while 94.3 MHz was replaced with Rotorua City 94FM.
