The Scouting Academy's video: Nick Chubb Film Study with Guest Matt Waldman

The fifth installment of our quarantine film study series. Leaving the Quarterback position, we tackled Runningbacks with Matt Waldman, author of the Rookie Scouting Portfolio (RSP). The tenured evaluator has made a name for himself highlighting draftable players at fantasy football positions like QB, RB, WR, and TE. We chose Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb and studied a cutup of him on runs of 4+ yards vs heavy boxes (7 or more defenders) with the QB under center as those runs will help explore what Chubb may do in 2020 with new Head Coach Kevin Stefanski. We also added a small cutup of 2019 runs from the Minnesota Vikings where Stefanski was most recently the Offensive Coordinator. We'll talk through Chubb’s discipline, vision, athletic ability, balance, and more!
