The Scouting Academy's video: Cam Newton Film Study with Guest Chris Palmer Part 1

The fourth installment of our quarantine film study series. We had Scouting Academy instructor and former Browns Head Coach Chris Palmer join Dan Hatman to break down former Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton. We looked at two 2018 games (pre-injury) and both 2019 games, making a cutup of all his 10+ yard throws in those games. We'll talk through Newton's decision making, arm strength, lower body mechanics, pocket movement, and more.
