Stand Up 8's video: Shotokan Karate Tournament at Harvard University 2017 Match 1

Last spring there was a tournament at Harvard that many college teams were invited to. This included MIT, Tufts, UConn, Boston University, University of Toronto, Umass Dartmouth, and more. I was lucky enough to compete for Umass Dartmouth and came in third for kumite, although the one match I lost was very close with an arguable last point as well. I went to this collegiate tournament at the age of 15 and was able to hold my own with the black belts there, and I only continue to grow from further training and research over time.
