Visveswaraya Terminal, Bengaluru, which is situated near Baiyapanahalli. The station has not been commissioned for commercial operations yet. It is expected that most of the trains terminating at Banaswadi and Yesvantpur will be shifted to TCTB (or SMVB). This train crosses the beautiful Katpadi - Pakala - Tirupati in the day time having a non stop run between Katpadi and Tirupati. It skips Chittoor and Pakala, the major stations in this section. Tirupati is a city in Chittoor district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Located 750 km southwest of state's executive capital Visakhapatnam, the city is home to the important Hindu shrine of Tirumala Venkateswara Temple and other historic temples and is referred to as the "Spiritual Capital of Andhra Pradesh". It is one of the eight Swayam vyaktha kshetras dedicated to Vishnu. As per the Purana, a loan of one crore and 11.4 million gold coins was sought by Balaji from Kubera for his marriage with Padmavathi. To pay back the loan, devotees from all over India visit the temple and donate money. Tirupati Main is classified as an A1 station in the Guntakal railway division of South Central Railway zone. Tirupati West Halt and Tiruchanur are the satellite stations, used for decongesting rail traffic at the main station. In addition to these, Tirupati also has Chandragiri, Yerpedu and Renigunta Junction Railway stations to serve the needs of the people of the city.
