Tongariro Alpine Crossing has been tagged as one of the best day walks in New Zealand. Every part of the walk is like a new chapter of a book, each with its own spectacle. Views of Mt Ngauruhoe, Tongariro and Ruapehu will ensure that this trek is all worth it. I finished the track in 9 hours and make no mistake I was dead as a zombie after, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It was definitely worth it. One of the most amazing things ever.
