The Travelaholics's video: Zakynthos Shipwreck Beach Greece Drone

@Zakynthos Shipwreck Beach Greece 🇬🇷Drone
This is one of our 4K youtube videos of Navagio/Shipwreck Beach mostly aerial footage by drone. Navagio is a beach on the Greek 🇬🇷island of Zakynthos. It lies on the northwest coast and is one of the most photographed beaches in Greece. It lies in a bay, sheltered by high limestone cliffs and can only be reached by boat. On 2 October 1980, the smuggling ship Panagiotis ran aground in the bay. The ship was then abandoned by the crew. The ship was probably used to smuggle cigarettes from Turkey to Italy. Possibly the ship was chased by the Greek coast guard. The ship was christened Saint Bedan on January 14, 1937, at a shipyard in Glasgow. The ship was sold several times and was always given a new name. In 1975 it got Piraeus as its home port and henceforth it was called Panagiotis.
