Zinda Park is very near to Dhaka and the destination has less traffic. This is a great place to remove urban boredom and to make little refreshment. The natural environment of this area is nurturing with proper maintenance. As a result, this area is totally different from our regular city environment. Sound & pollution free environment of the park is creating inner peace. Zinda Park is located in the Daudpur union of Rupganj upazila under Narayanganj district. The distance of Zinda Park from Dhaka is about 37km. The convenient route is through Kuril 300 feet road (Purbachal Highway). You can go by bus. The route is through Kanchpur Bridge via Bhulta-Gausia. Another route is through Tongi Mirer Bazar via by-pass road. The entry fee of the park is only 100 taka. Zindapark is a superb place for a day out with family and kids. Nice green environment, fresh air & fully open space for kids to enjoy. It's also a great place to visit as well as hanging out with friends. If you want to escape from the noise and busty life of city, this place should be your first choice. The park is surrounded by dense green forests..There have lots of tree and totally green atmosphere. The entire environment of Zinda Park is very tourists friendly. Inside the park they have good security arrangement for tourists. They have lake, garden, tree house, library, clinic, school, restaurant for visitors. All constructions are made considering the nature. The park is situated with the total area of about 150 acres. There are more than 10,000 trees and plants of 250 species in the park. All of these have made the environment cool, green and peaceful. For lunch & snacks there is a restaurant named Mahua in Zinda Park. The architectural beauty of Mahua is very excellent. Visitors can have their lunch and snacks there, though food option is very limited. If visitors carry their own food then they can enjoy it in open space or in restaurant. In that case they need to pay only 25 taka extra per person. The park is featured with 5 lakes/ponds. About fifty percent area of Zinda Park is filled with water actually There are several boats for tourists to travel around the lake. The place is getting more popular day by day. It becomes more attractive during the rainy season. Zinda Park Is also known as Oikotan Eco Resort. This is basically an Eco-park. In the early eighties, five school friends launched an organization ‘Agrapathik Palli Samiti’ with only Tk. 60 in their pockets and a dream of building a community village. The idea first hit Tobarok Hossain Kusum, the founder of Zinda Park. His vision was to set up well-established facilities for the villagers. In the year 1980 the Agrapathik Palli Samiti was started its journey with 5,000 villagers. Four decades later, their vision has managed to change Zinda village forever. In this unique community village, a rare instance in Bangladesh context, they have established a school, a community clinic, a beautiful library, a mosque, an eidgah, and a restaurant with aesthetic design.
