The Tribune's video: Experts visit landslide site that caused blockade on Chanderbhaga river in Himachal

Read story here: https://tinyurl.com/5aam647j The threat caused to villages and low-lying areas due to the blockage of the Chanderbhaga river in Lahaul-Spiti seems to have been averted with most of the debris having been removed naturally resulting in smooth flow of water. A team of experts headed by Director Central Water Commission NN Rai visited the site to assess the situation and suggest measures to avert any mishap. The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
