An example of a water polo goalie clearing a save to a teammate coming out of the ejection box. With under 12 seconds left in the 2015 WWPA Championship game and down by one goal UC Davis draws and ejection and their shot is blocked by the UCSD goalie. Expecting a crash from the UC Davis post players, the UCSD goalie clears the ball to the ejection area and to his incoming teammate. UCSD calls timeout and runs out the remainder of the clock to win 6-5.
