I used to sell Yarn and Fabric - but since Covid, fabric costs have gone up, shipping issues and mostly, the consumer base has changed. The customer wanting yarn was increasing and the age of the customer was widening too. The customer wanting fabric and to patchwork sadly was declining. It made business sense to say goodbye to fabric (which was very hard as a keen sewer, patchworker and dressmaker) and to welcome in more yarn! I can't believe how different the shop looks.....it's way more spacious....yet cosier!! I love how my Lavenham Blue now gets a special feature wall that is so deserves! So here's to more successful years niching down to just YARN and providing a crafty, safe space to those who love yarn, knitting, crochet and any other type of crafting you do with wool & yarn!!
