So my ears last year i got up to about a 0g and then i decided to go back down to standard size which we all know is impossible. They shrunk down to about ehh. i dunno a size 8 or maybe 10 i'm not sure but i was still able with some struggle to get an old 6g taper in there. It hurt a bit but it was fine after about 5 minutes. I don't recommend doing this, but hey YOLO! jk yolo is dumb but no really.
