My best friend Nikki usually misses me when she's on vacation, so once while she was packing we were chatting and saying goodbye, and I don't remember exactly how it went, but I recorded this song really fast so she could listen to it when she missed me (this is kind of our song, actually many songs are 'ours' xD). So now it's valentine's day (not really but I can't do this tomorrow), and I didn't really think about Nikki, because valentine's day is about your boyfriend and romance and stuff, but she said she wanted to see me tomorrow and had something for me and gah she's just so sweet and I felt stupid for not thinking about her. I also feel like I don't see her enough lately, sometimes I don't see her for a week and that's sad. So Nikki, this is for when you miss me and because I love you (I can't make hearts because youtube won't allow it :O) *heart* (This is actually more based on the Glee version, though the guitar playing does sound more like the original. The guitar playing is not very good by the way, because I once recorded this with Nikki and I still had it on my computer and used it now, I couldn't do it over.) I don't own anything but my voice and the guitar recording (not the melody), the picture is taken by my sister and it makes me happy to look at because it shows how much fun I have with Nikki. Oh and somewhere it sounds like I'm singing "I've built my lie around you" but that's actually "I've built my life around you". I do not own this song.
