OK. So it's my 50th birthday. I'm in the South of France. And it's the most horrendous day ever - thunder, lightning, gales and lashing rain. The cruise ship tenders ashore have been suspended due to rough seas and safety concerns. The funny thing is, I was in France 10 years ago for my 40th. And it pissed down that day too! This video was filmed off the coast of Villefranche aboard the Thomson Dream cruise ship. And, to be fair, the weather did quickly clear up to leave a very hot and sunny day. July 29, 2013.
