In this video I visit Gorleston Old Cemetery at Gorleston-On-Sea, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, and talk about the grave of Cissie Drummee and other members of her family. The grave is distinctive because of the beautiful Italian marble statue of Cissie, which is unlike anything else in the cemetery. I talk about Cissie’s life - and death - and the story of her family, who ran taverns in the area during the early part of the 20th century. Her grave has recently been restored by volunteers from Project Nova, which I discuss in the video. Filmed on May 23, 2023, using my Apple iPhone 13 Mini. Commentary by Ian M Bullock.
