TheIanBullock's video: The Italian Job Ian s fabulously funky Fiat 500L

This video is all about my gorgeous Fiat 500L car, which I bought around Christmas 2019. It’s a bit of an Idiot’s Guide, as I have no particular technical knowledge of cars - so I basically chat about why I chose to buy the car, how I find it as my daily family car, and how things have gone in the two years or so since I bought it. My video also looks at the design influences which shaped the creation of the Fiat 500L, when the model was released in 2012, and talks about its unusual colour - Jazz Turquoise. The colour is quite rare here in the UK. I describe my own involvement with Fiats throughout my lifetime, including cars from a dealership in Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk, in my childhood, as well as previous Fiats I have owned in my younger years. The video discusses Villa Savoye in France, the Fiat 500, the Fiat 600 Multipla, the Multipla people carrier, the Fiat Uno 45, the Fiat 124 and 128, and various design influences surrounding the development of the Fiat 500L. I also talk about the FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) manufacturing plant in Serbia and wonder whether the 500L is still being manufactured there as reports seem to be mixed about the factory’s future and activities. My car came from Bexhill Motoring Centre at Bexhill-on-Sea and I describe how in summer 2021 we popped back into the premises during a trip to St Leonards and the South Coast.
