I wanted to test out some lights I have for an upcoming film shoot - Perfect excuse to set up a photoshoot with Caz :) We shot this in 4k so the 'photos' are screen caps. The hero of the show (besides Caz) was the Aputure 100d light with the 70cm deep parabolic umbrella softbox . With the grid. Makes a beautiful soft light source. Shot in Slog 3 , Cinegamut3 with Phantom Luts : Tungsten. That gave the skin a rich glow and complemented the teal / black background too. My thought process was, the max res of the a7siii is 12mp anyway, so why not do a 4k video shoot and screen cap. Except, I made one small error. I kept the shutter speed 180 🤦‍♂️. I had meant to crank that to get some sharper images but it's acceptable. The only thing blurry is the hair when it blows. Lucky.
