TheJadedFilmMaker's video: Rode VideoMic Go II :: VLOG :: addressing weird youtube comments and hang-ups

Hi ! Just a quick upload telling everyone what I've been doing lately :) Gear used: Sony a7iv Sony 28mm 1.8 Rode VideoMic Go II Just shot with PP Off. The only 'grading' done to this shot is a Lut on 60% called Heulandite. It's free. It makes the skin a bit yellowy and stylised though yeah? I dont mind it at all. Its pretty much just a subtle teal and orange lut. The mic level on the camera was eventually '17' which was arbitrary ... just making sure at the loudest point of talking that the visual levels almost peaked at 100 % i can hear / see some brief moments of peaking in this video actually in the premiere project window BUT, it sounds ok. It handles being too hot quite well! if thats even a thing. hmm what else... -active stab on -aperture 1.8 -shutter speed 1/800 (bite me), -auto white balance (but the trick is, you lock the white balance once you're happy) -mic on default settings / right out of the box IN conclusion... the pad will stay off. I might try that HF boost ALTHOUGH it does sound high and tinny to me already. Will probably leave it. Oh and I'm using the wind muff from my spare Rode Video Micro. It fits fine.
