It’s also about survival, as so many of us suffered terribly due to our industries being shut down. The ocean represents freedom and swimming in it, the best medicine for our souls. I have an amazing working relationship with Matthew Marinus (Director). I think we have shot five videos together so far. I told Matt that the song was written about lockdown so we needed to shoot it at my house. At the last minute we decided to use the remix but the concept stayed the same. I created four very different looks and feels around the house which are symbolic of life, movement and rebirth. I have a beautiful boma fireplace, which we lit to create a roaring blaze, and I was in water for large parts of the shoot. My dogs were amused by all the activity and may even get a walk on part.
