I can't hop online to check in on you and see how your furbabies and family are doing. I can't ask what fascinating new research you're uncovering on your latest genealogical quest. I can't ask what bird-friend landed on your traffic-y bird bath this morning, what coffee or tea you're having, or what throwback songs you're jamming out to. I can't share all my "music gossip" with you, or fill you in on what's happening in my girl Taylor Swift's world, or laugh about how hyper I get after I drink Starbucks. We discussed life and even death often. What we thought about the afterlife. I know you're somewhere beautiful in the beyond now, reunited with the family and furbabies who have been waiting to greet you on the other side. Every time I told you that Scotty and I were headed out to a show, you'd tell me to be safe. Every show I play from now on, I will be dedicating to you.
