FLOKI Inu Event's video: Final Fantasy VI: Kefka and Ending no special challenge

@Final Fantasy VI: Kefka and Ending, no special challenge
I know this particular video has to be out there at least a million times, but each video is different somehow. This is my turn to upload one of the coolest final boss fights and endings of the Final Fantasy series, and it's also my first non-nintendo video game upload. (the VG collection doesn't count here, I wasn't playing them) Ok, now I can go into more detail. This is one of the best major battles (in my opinion) of the Final Fantasy series, but then again, this is also the only final boss i've ever beaten in any FF game (it's like, I go and do sidequests, and I just never decide to fight the final boss, or in the case of IV, i'm not there yet) You may question some of my equipment, use of Umaro to get to Kefka, and strategy after watching this. The truth is, I wasn't really thinking, though I have an excuse for many things. Umaro is in the group because I've barely used Relm and Gau up to this point, so they lack their better abilities. (only used them when they HAD to be in the party, Gau was never taught magic, and Relm was in the party for such a short time, she only knows Fire, Ice, Bolt, and Cure) As for my strategy, you'll notice my primary attack style was to have Sabin Bum Rush everything, Terra use double Meteor, Edgar use the AutoCrossbow, and Mog use Meteor. In some situations, I should have done it differently. For example, I should have been using Air Blade instead of Bum Rush in the second part. I stopped attacking after the first part due to that muddle mishap. Terra could have used double Flares instead of double Meteors when there was one target, or even just attacking with the Atma Weapon if her HP was at a good level (I did that the first time I fought this thing, I got her desperation attack in the third part by accident, which looked cool and did 9999 damage to one target). Edgar could have made use of the Drill more often when it was only one target, and Mog could have substituted Meteor for Flare in some situations. Mog's place in the party is a strange situation for me. This game was out when I was fairly young, and didn't quite grasp the story. I watched my brother beat this game for the first time (he videotaped the entire battle and ending, like I did, but on a VHS), and his party was the same as mine (Sabin, Terra, Edgar, Mog). After beating it, I should have considered redoing it, with Celes, Locke, or Setzer in Mog's place (those three were my next strongest, and you saw Celes had that whopping 119 M. Block). You probably saw the Illumnia, but I'm sure you didn't see a Paladin Shield. That's because I don't have it at this time, didn't finish the quest to transform the shield. Also note, Terra knows all but three spells, she does not know Mertron (though she has Crusader equiped), Ultima (passed up the Ragnarok esper, and not yet finished with Paladin Shield), or Quick (not yet gotten the Raiden esper). They didn't prove to be a problem, Meteor seemed to do the trick. On a related note, i'm sure you'll also see the ZSNES UI flash at times. That's the result of bad video editing. Nothing important was cut, and I had to leave the UI flash in since WMM wouldn't let me chop it out without taking a second out of the video. EDIT: Hate to make this description longer, but i've watched other Kefka battle videos, and I realize now how damn lucky I got with a good portion of this battle. So many attacks weren't used on me, like Kefka's 7000+ damage attack, or a lot of other multi target junk. Probably the worst thing that happened during this fight was the whole Muddle/W. Wind incident, which did the most damage out of any attack. I'd like to see, I know it's possible to Steal an Atma Weapon and a Ragnarok in the third part, what if someone had Locke and Shadow at fairly high levels, have Locke take one or the other, then have Shadow throw the prize at Kefka.
