Hey everyone so here's another video for my Contemporary Literature Exam and this is one of the movies we had to study and analyze along with the source material. The movie is a Modern version of Joseph Conrad's novella ''Heart Of Darkness''. I think this song embodies the true meaning of the book and movie at the same time. The movie has a different setting and context but they kept the same meaning as the novella. It's about the hypocrisy of Imperialism and in the movie's case, the War as well. I think the movie aged very well compared to the book. Unfortunately, Heart Of Darkness is extremely racist but it came out in 1899, what do we expect?. Anyway, my next video will be about a mash-up I recently made.
