ThePressStartProject's video: Spriggan Powered Ep IV: Stage4

@Spriggan Powered, Ep. IV: Stage4
Fourth stage inside a pitch black cave infested with alien creatures. ◆ GAME INFO ◆ ■ ELEMENTAL GAUGE: This meter comprised of three bars located at the top-right corner of the screen represents the character's shield and "Potential", its charge attack, where the former can be activated by pressing the 'A' button, and the latter by pressing and briefly holding the 'B' button. Both of these techniques use up a bar off the gauge, but can be easily replenished by destroying enemies. ■ WEAPON ORBS: These orbs appear whenever a specific enemy is destroyed, and will hover around changing between four colors that represent a specific weapon upgrade. • BLUE ORB (ARROW SHOT): essentially an arrow-like projectile that shoots two blue-colored beams projecting from the back of the character at the enemy. This particular weapon is rather cumbersome, but works well on linear formations. • RED ORB (GATLING GUN): allows the standard gun to expel shots more rapidly similar to a Gatling gun, even though the 'B' button must be continuously pressed for this effect to be achieved. This upgrade in particular is very useful whenever enemies swarm the screen or to swiftly take down enemies that require more than one shot to be destroyed. • GREEN ORB (HOMING MISSILE): the character shoots various green orbs from its back that act as homing missiles. Although this upgrade covers more ground than the rest, it comes short whenever facing bosses where hitting fast and hard is the preferred strategy. • ORANGE ORB (NAPALM BOMB): this particular orb grants the character the ability to shoot a fireball from its gun that upon impact with an enemy will create a napalm-like effect that will last for a few seconds, destroying or damaging enemies that come near it. Out of the four orb upgrades, this is the most powerful, but quite cumbersome to use against standard enemies, so it's the type of weapon upgrade that works best against bosses, although that doesn't necessarily mean the rest can't work as well. ■ TECH: TECH are bonuses awarded to the character for "stylishly" evading enemy fire; this bonus is tallied with the rest of the accrued score at the end of the stage. Keep in mind that these bonuses are merely for flare and contribute nothing to the character or game. — NOTE: I started playing this game back in August 15, 2008, and aimed to complete it and subsequently upload it, but things didn't go as planned. I've yet to finish this game, even though it's quite short, and while my usual MO is to upload my playthroughs once I've finished whatever game I'm playing, I think it's pointless keeping these stored gathering digital dust when I can just upload the rest whenever I get the time. Due note that these videos were edited during the initial stages of this channel and before I decided to use a different template design and logo.
