TheSoutherner's video: Swanage Railway 29 07 2020

@Swanage Railway 29/07/2020
34072 "257 Squadron" brought the sound of a Bulleid pacific back to the Isle of Purbeck in style, as the 'Battle of Britain' Class locomotive returned to steam on the Swanage Railway following the Covid-19 lockdown. Allowing once again, the much missed three cylinder beat to echo through the Dorset hills. "257 Squadron" became the latest locomotive, following Class 33 - D6515 "Lt Jenny Lewis RN" and U Class - 31806, to operate the railways' Plum timetable consisting of four return trips between Swanage and Norden over the course of the day. As part of their safety measures, implemented in order to be able to reopen, all intermediate stations remained closed to passengers. Locomotives: BR(S) 'Battle of Britain' Class - 34072 "257 Squadron" All footage filmed on Wednesday the 29th of July 2020.
