Unfortunately for many, the official costume selection for wrestling designs was pretty limited. You were either forced to make your own costume or chose from some pretty bad options. Why workout to look like John Cena when adults can wear a costume featuring stuffed muscle arms?! Bill Goldberg was a megastar in WCW, but his official mask looks like an elderly old man and is downright creepy. If female fans wanted to look like Sable, they could have purchased a wig instead of a rubber mask that looks nothing like the wrestling Diva. The Umaga dress up kit feels a little racist and doesn’t truly represent the wrestler. One of Hulk Hogan’s first official Halloween costumes would have been great in the rain, but not so comfortable while trick or treating. Sting was a mysterious enigma in WCW, but there’s nothing mysterious about how creepy his official masks look. Children could not only dress up like John Cena, but they could sport a GIANT dog tag that doesn’t really make sense. The Road Dogg wasn’t one of the most popular WWE wrestlers, but he was one of the few who did get an official mask. The Boogeyman is coming to get you and he has a giant plastic clock to carry along with him!
