Sit back, throw your feet up and enjoy one of my all time favourite and most cherished childhood games (up there with Final Fantasy 9) Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled is a complete but faithful remake of the 1998 PS1 kart racer classic of the same name. It features all of the original tracks and cups from the PS1 game, remade in beautiful new graphics and each level has had a tonne of new details added to the background. On top of that, the tracks from the sequel, Crash Nitro Racing, have also been remade. The game features a remake of the original's Adventure Mode, complete with boss races against Ripper Roo, Papu Papu, Komodo Joe, Pinstripe and, of course, Nitrous Oxide himself. There is also the Pit Stop, an in game store in which Wumpa Coins can be exchanged for new cosmetic items. This store is NOT open to microtransactions - coins are strictly earned in game, with significantly more coins earned for online races. The cast of characters has also been greatly expanded, with a variety of skins, karts and customisation options available. In short, Beenox and Activision did a terrific job with this.
