April 2010 - Casualties of War 2: Rudy Luna defeats Stafford (who feigned an injury in an attempt to get out of the match), but is robbed of the Wildcard Title when Stafford reveals a previously undisclosed "rule" stating that in order for the title to change hands, the competitors must have shaken hands prior to the match starting. Stafford left in defeat, but still champion. August 2010 - Conflict Resolution 2: Leading up to the show, Stafford had shown a more aggressive stance toward defending his title, as he desired to prove that he could be a legitimate champion. In doing so, he offered the winner of a match between Rudy Luna, Mexus, Mercurio, Jr and Thunderwolf a shot at the title. Rudy pinned Mexus, but Stafford refused to honor his word, instead granting an immediate shot at the already battered Mexus. After retaining his title, Stafford was assaulted by Luna post-match. It was then that Stafford realized that he would have to step up and face his challenger man-to-man. Thus, this ladder match was made to finally put this feud to rest.
