Theairplaneguy4ever's video: Air India AI48 : Flying from New Delhi to Kochi

My return on Air India from New Delhi's T3 terminal back home to Kochi. Air India were much better on this flight than on my onward flight. The New Delhi-Kochi sector happens to be the longest non-stop sector within India and AI flies thrice daily between the two cities. This flight, AI48, continues on to Thiruvananthapuram. Scheduled flying time for this flight was 3 hrs and 5 min, departing at 6:05 pm in the evening and arrival being at 9:10 pm at Cochin International Airport. Push back occurred with a 25 min delay. My seat was the same as my onward, 26F on the right side. VT-PPQ, an Airbus A321, operated AI48 today. This flight was a great improvement on my onward flight on AI466. Primarily, the IFE was switched on as opposed to my onward. However, the selection is quite limited at 6 channels and is pretty inadequate for a long flight like this one. The audio content was the only redeeming factor. The food catered by Tajsats was excellent in both quantity and quality. My only wish would be for a proper drinks run instead of the Coffee/tea run. The seat comments remain the same as on AI466. The crew were a bit pleasanter than my outbound but were still quite disinterested and hid in the galley after meal service. Airfare for this flight was 23K INR return as this was a last minute booking. Seat 9/10 IFE 5/10 Meal 9/10 Crew 5/10 Overall experience rating : 7.0/10 I would hesitate a bit before picking Air India again, but one thing they've got right is timing, this being the last flight out of Delhi and which is why I picked this flight.
