Monotonous, but less tedious than simply mass gathering shards alone. Candles will drop higher amounts of gold with the high luck stat as long as your MP regen outdoes the consumption rate. Accelarator isn't required, but it makes it faster. Bottom line is to get your luck stat as high as possible for gold drops, and to sell off low level materials as well as Bat and Morte shards.
