In this sketch, Webster presents his thesis on the demise of Lady Diana Spencer, princess of the United Kingdom and mother of princes William and Harry. Webster contends that her death was actually a political murder, motivated by the fact that she was about to marry Dodi al-Fayed and, what's more, that she was about to declare her conversion to Islam. This would have given you an interethnically-married Muslim Queen Mother and it of course would not fit well with the “Clash of Civilizations” strategy, the by-then-already-planned geostrategic narrative for the 21st century. Here it is probably worth noting that Webster is not just a highly intelligent and cultured political comentator, he's also a very well connected and informed one – having, among other things, been editor for the prestigious Executive Intelligence Review.
