@Terraria: How to summon Martian Probes & the Martian Madness event.

If you build a platform in space near the edge of the map that helps to increase the spawn rate of the probes. Also (can't confirm) I think using the Jungle Temple blocks to build the platform makes it a Jungle Biome and apparently that increases the spawn rate slightly as well. Water candle helps too.
