Tiffany Bonilla's video: Your Place of Waiting

Reposted it from my Instagram stories after we announced our pregnancy; thought some else might need to hear it. Though I am rejoicing in the excitement of this new life, my heart can’t help but be tender towards those still waiting for their miracle. I am no stranger of “the waiting”. We often feel alone in our waiting but we all have our own place of waiting. Getting married 2 months before my 28th birthday, I decided in my heart that if God were to choose for me to wait AGAIN to have children, I would do things differently. Here’s what I wrote before we started this journey: All of us have our own place of waiting. Some of us have to wait to get married. Some of us have to wait to have children. Some of us have to wait to get our healing. Some of us have to wait to for a backslidden child to come home. Let us be grateful the places we didn’t have to wait, and grateful for the places of waiting. Anyone who gets everything they want when they want will be someone nobody wants. Waiting builds character, compassion and strength. It’s hard to rejoice with those who didn’t have to “wait like you.” But we are to rejoice with them that rejoice and mourn with them that mourn. We share one another’s waitings and miracle arrivals. The best state you can find yourself in while waiting is being happy for you “family”. It’ll make your time so much more special because you invested in others joy and will reap that joy for you. God is no respecter of persons. He has a master plan for your life. He has good gifts for you. He doesn’t play with your emotions rather He GIVES you the desires of your heart. Trust in His proven faithfulness.
