बीते हफ़्ते शनिवार को हमास के हमले के बाद ग़ज़ा पट्टी पर इसराइल की बमबारी जारी है और इन हमलों से जान बचाने के लिए लोग इधर-उधर भाग रहे हैं. इसराइल ने अपने तीन लाख रिज़र्व सैनिकों को बुला लिया है और ग़ज़ा पट्टी को पूर्ण रूप से ब्लॉक करने का ऐलान किया है. ये इस बात का संकेत है कि इसराइल हवाई हमलों के बाद जल्द ही हमास के ख़िलाफ़ ज़मीन पर उतर सकता है. इस लड़ाई में दोनों तरफ़ के कई लोग मारे जा चुके हैं. इस बीच हमास ने धमकी दी है कि अगर इसराइल बिना चेतावनी के आम लोगों के मकानों पर हमले जारी रखता है तो वो बंधक बनाए गए इसराइली को क़त्ल कर देगा.
