Tim Dry's video: THE WANG BROTHERS - WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS

1985. Here's the 7" version of the single of George Harrison's 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' that I recorded with the very talented musician Tony Lewis in late 1985 and we recorded and released this as a single under the name The Wang Bros (guitarist in joke!). Sadly, because of no promotion, no budget from the so-called Record Label (I can't bring myself to say its name aloud) this great version of a FAB song went nowhere. The track was produced by Dave (Sex Pistols) Goodman and I really thought then that this could be the break through for me as a recording artist. It's become apparent in these retrospective days that in terms of recorded music sales, in whatever venture, I've always been a bridesmaid never a bride. Well, at least I got an invite to the weddings! Anway, play this extremely loud and enjoy!!
