Tim's video: Post Install Brembo Supersport Front Brake Discs

@Post Install Brembo Supersport Front Brake Discs
I finally managed to fit the brembo supersport, fully floating, front brake disks and SC brake pads. After my first attempt at fitting, the brake calipers were sitting on the disc surface. So rather than my usual method of aligning the brake calipers, I had to hold the caliper in position whilst torquing. Additionally, I struggled to align the non-captive front fork (the opposite side to the axle nut). Possibly I am too light to properly bounce the front end enough. I had to manually align the fork, then torque, then set the caliper. Now there is even spacing between the caliper body and discs on both sides of the wheel. The disks make a small amount of noise or clatter at slow speed and over bumps, but are quiet at high speed. They will need a good 150-200kms of bedding-in before the next track day. I also managed to weigh the brembo Ore discs that come standard on the GSX-R600, 750 and 1000. The disc, after 27,000kms weighted 1.475kgs. The new brembo supersport disc weighed 1.446kgs, 29grams lighter than the OEM Ore disc. lol massive weight savings!
