Tim's video: Short Rider Dirt Biking - 2018 Suzuki DR-Z125 L - First Ride Review

In this video I go dirt bike riding on the 2018 Suzuki DR-Z125 and DR-Z125L, as well as the Yamaha TT-R230. I crashed a lot. The standard DR-Z125 has a seat height of 770mm and I can get both feet flat on the floor. The Suzuki DR-Z125L has a larger (hence the L) 19inch front wheel and a front disk brake. The seat height raises to 805mm. The Suzuki is a fun bike, it is kick start but I quickly got tired of the lack of power. I tried the Yamaha TT-R230 which has a seat height of 875mm and whilst I could only get tippy toes on one side, I felt the larger bike suited me and I felt more comfortable with the gripper tyres, and larger wheels. The Yamaha felt like it would be a bike you could keep for years, and grow into nicely and has almost the same power to weight ratio as the Yamaha WR250F.
