Tim's video: Ducati Panigale - Short Rider First Ride Review 2019

This is a short rider review of the Ducati Panigale 899. This video has been a long time in the making and is my first ride of a Ducati Panigale 899 2015. I have always wanted to ride this motorcycle but was worried about the seat height at 830mm. I am 160cm tall and weigh 58kgs. With both feet down, I can get tippy toes on both sides. With one foot on the footpeg I can almost get one foot completely flat on the floor. The ergonomics and riding position on the Ducati Panigale is more aggressive then my GSXR, with higher footpegs, and lower clip ons but is comfortable once you get used to it. The L-Twin engine allows for a very narrow bike and fuel tank, which means my legs sit in a neutral position. The engine dominates this bike, its sound is so dramatic it wants you to push the bike harder and faster. This bike is stock, apart from the Termignoni exhaust. This bike can easily get you into a lot of trouble! In future I am looking to ride a 2020 Ducati Panigale V4 either the V4S or the V4R, V2, and a 2020 BMW S1000RR. But these bikes are so new they haven't really hit the hire bike market yet. All BMW S1000rr 2020 bikes are sold out. Music by Bensounds.com.
