Tim's video: Nissan Xtrail Vibration issue and Upgrade to Toyo C100 Plus Tyre

Its been a while since I made a Nissan Xtrail video. The Xtrail has now reached 105,000kms and is overdue for its 100k service, which I hope to do soon. The Xtrail has developed a vibration at speeds of 80kph and over. It starts with a slight vibrating of the steering wheel, increasing to a vibration that can be felt through the whole car. I checked the wheel nuts were torqued to 80Ib Ft and checked tyre pressures were set correctly. I run mine at 40PSI for fuel economy. My car is almost always empty. The problem still persisted. I thought the issue might be caused by a wheel weight coming off. My car also had four different makes of tyre and were getting close to the wear indicators. So I decided to change the tyres at the same time as getting the wheel balancing and alignment done. I selected the Toyo C100 Plus tyres for their excellent mileage, good wet weather grip and fuel economy. After the tyres were fitted, there was an increase in grip, massive reduction in cabin noise, and the vibration was gone. Win Win all round.
