Tim's video: Suzuki GSX-R600 1000 - Exhaust Control Valve Actuator Servo Motor - Fault Finding - 33970-47H02

I removed the Suzuki Exhaust Servo Motor (Exhaust Control Valve Actuator (EXCVA)) from my Suzuki GSX-R600 (the same motor is used on the GSX-R1000) after an intermittent fault light became persistent. The fault code was C46. In its place I fitted a servo buddy. The Exhaust Servo Motor, part number 33970-47H02 also know as the ACTUATOR ASSY, retails for $728.20 AUD. In this video, I disassemble the Exhaust Servo Motor to try and find the fault that is causing the error code. I traced the fault to a split contact. I will try and repair the contact then perform a test. For a few dollars I may have saved the $730 dollar part!
