Tim's video: Broken Rear Motorcycle Axle - Stripped thread and axle blocks

@Broken Rear Motorcycle Axle - Stripped thread and axle blocks
A small 5minute job to align the motorcycle chain turned into three hours of work and a broken axle and axle blocks. Corrosion had built up on the steel axle and prevented the nut from coming loose. The axle then rotated against the soft alloy axle blocks, tearing them apart. The motorcycle is a 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 L1 Supersport bike, which is still the current model sold globally. These parts are the same for the 1000 model. However, on the new 2019 GSX-R1000, the axle block design is different and holds both sizes of the axle in place, rather than just the front face. The new blocks and axle are now on order ready for the 2019 track day season! Big thanks to Mark who got the axle nut off. Legend!
