You should deep clean your brushes once a month. Use baby shampoo to wash only the bristles of the brush (if you get the handle wet over time it will come apart) Massage the soap into the bristles and then rinse completely. Let your brushes dry bristles up standing in a cup or lying do flat down. I bought the pet bathing mitten from my local pet store! Who would've thought!
