I got a storage space outside the city  I'm gonna kiss goodbye all those crickets in my guesthouse that keep me up at night i tossed the rug my parents gave me to cover my cement floor I'm leaving LA it doesn't feel like LA anymore I haven't seen friends in 8 months, would they recognize me now?  I bleached my hair and dyed it bright pink from that melancholy brown it used to remind me of how much i cared what strangers thought before i've got too much lost time to care about what they think of me anymore someday i'll see you again in more than my dreams but I'm not sure when so kill the houseplants and my dreams of playin under those stage lights mourn for all the tours we cancelled all the parts of me that died I still hear echoes in the alley outside largo's stage right doors we used to laugh here but LA's not quite LA anymore I hope I see you again in more than my dreams but I'm not sure when cuz I got a storage space outside the city and never said goodbye to my favorite taco stand and venues I played every night I'll miss those sunsets that feeling like lightnings gonna strike I'm leaving LA I hope we make it out of this alive
