To The Top Crane | In this video I use one of our Manitex 50128 boom trucks to recover a Beechcraft B18 that landed with out all of its landing gear down. The plane suffered a mechanical failure of one of the landing gear components. The flight crew circled the airport for quite a while trying to get it sorted out. When they got low on fuel, they had no choice but to attempt a single gear landing. Ultimately they were successful in landing without too much damage to the plane. My hats off to the crew for such and amazing recovery of a situation that very well could've been catastrophic.
