In this video I am using our Tadano 180g-5 to hoist a man basket up for cell tower work. The crane is configured with 186 feet of main boom, 82 feet of hydraulic luffing jib, 53,000 pounds of counterweight. The basket was the only option for reaching the top of the tower, as the climbers were not permitted to climb the tower. We hoisted the basket to a height of approximately 250 feet.
